50-60
Ok you have finally made it to 50 and you fought your way out
of the 40s. Now things begin to look upwards. You are now a
high level, don't let anyone tell you differently. This is
where the game begins to take off in a major way. Sure you have
fought through dungeons and worked on quests, but you ain't
seen nothin' yet.
There is 1 instance for you to work on for the next couple
of levels, you want to head out to The Temple of Atal'Hakkar
and fight some really bad guys.
There are quests now for you in the Blasted Lands, in
particular the Blood Elf camp near the Swamp of Sorrow side.
This works great as the Temple of Atal'Hakkar is nearby. There
are 5 quests that will net you around 23,000 experience when
you have them all completed.
But at these levels the one zone that has the absolute most
quests is Un'Goto Crater and one quest in particular is going
to keep you busy for a while. The Linken quest, a quest that
will take you all over the world and each step of your journey
is going to land you an amazing amount of experience. At one
point though you will need to have to work on some reputation
to get to Winterspring and the experience is good and the
reputation is very important for some amazing recipes.
So spend some time slaughtering anything that moves in
Deadwood camp in Felwood. In no time at all you will be through
these levels and moving on to the high end game.
Once you hit level 55 you can hunt in Winterspring or head
out to the Plaguelands, both Western and Eastern provides very
rich hunting grounds as well as quests from Light Hope Chapel
in Eastern Plaguelands.
You should be able to get groups for Blackrock Depths
instance after level 55 if you are careful, but most groups
will want you to be higher, closer to 58.
Once you hit level 60 the remainder of the instances will be
yours; Blackrock Spire, Stratholme and Scholomance.
And if you get yourself into raiding groups then Molten
Core, The Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj and Zul'Gurub. While no longer
gaining experience you will be working on gaining new equipment
to make yourself more powerful. Which will help you on your way
to level 70 once "The Burning Crusade" expansion hits the
shelves.
Good luck out there friend and remember... if you die, try
and make it a funny death. It makes it that much more fun.
